About tournament

The international beach handball tournament Prague Open Beach Handball is organized since 2016 and has found its place in the center of Europe – Czech Republic. The tournament takes place in different locations in Prague. From the fourth tournament edition we found our home in Beachklub Ládví in Prague. We are glad that the city of Prague appreciates our effort and became one of our main partners too.
While the first year of the tournament was mainly shown as preparation for national teams, who took part of European or World championships after that, the next years fulfilled more of the organizer’s vision and we hosted both – the national teams and also the teams from European Beach Handball Tour (EBT), who could compete together.
After just 3 years of tournament existence we can say, that teams such as Norway, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania or Germany nationals participated side by side with teams from more handball unknown countries – USA, Australia and best teams from Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

From 2019 there is also a winter edition of the tourmanament which is organised at the same place in covered halls.

This year the tournament will be held under the brands HNB (Házet nás baví) again, which is the biggest czech handball media portal, represented by Mrs. Kaczkowská.

Tournament will be registered in EBT tour as soon as possible – depends on the opening of registration for new season on the EHF pages.
